Biographical note and Research Interests |
Heliana Mello is Full Professor of Linguistics and English at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil. Her current research interests center around the study of speech, namely syntax, semantics and pragmatics, through empirical methodology based on corpus data. Specializes in corpora compilation and treatment and is interested in quantitative analytic methods.
