Biographical note and Research Interests

Fabrizia Raguso, Psychologist, with degree from the “La Sapienza” University in Rome and degree in Theology from the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). She graduated in Relational Psychology and Family Therapy at the M. Andolfi Family Therapy Academy in Rome, attending several international seminars in this area, with M. Elkaïm, G. Cecchin, C. Saccu, F. Wolsh, among others. Doctorate in Philosophy – Anthropology and Ethics at the University of Minho. She is currently Assistant Professor at the Catholic University of Portugal, CR Braga, where she teaches Family Psychology, Systemic Models, Psychosexual Development, Family and Parental Counseling, Psychology of Religion, Personality Theories, Contemporary Religiosities: Psychosociological Approaches. In 2010 she was Junior Researcher in the “Alta Scuola di Psicologia A. Gemelli” of the Università Cattolica of Milan (Italy), at the invitation of Prof. Vittorio Cigoli. Since 2005 she has been integrate member of the CEFH, where she has carried out investigations in the area of ​​Multiculturalism and cultural and linguistic identity. He is currently conducting studies in the area of ​​relational psychology and life choices of young adults. Recent publications have addressed topics such as Family and Dependencies; the impact of parental emigration on the life choices of young adults; the family relationships of young people and adolescents at risk. She has edited and translated the Portuguese version of the videos “Closed Doors. A difficult search for Father” and “Long Time ago” of the DVD collection of the Accademia di Psicoterapia della Famiglia in Rome.
